KUKICHA
The first fine shoots of the year are harvested early on the Hayashi plantation and steamed for just a little longer than usual during processing. This elicits many plant components from the tea and ensures an intense infusion with an almost vanilla-like sweetness. Although the kukicha is less tangy than other Japanese teas, the typical, spicy-grassy flavor is well recognized.
